Krasnador is the favorite here, with the draw in a close 2nd. Overall these teams have played 3 times, with Krasnador taking all 3, 2-1, 4-1, and 6-1 most recently. Mordovia are 1-1-3 in their last 5 home games, being outscored 4-8, while Krasnador are 3-1-1 in their last 5 road matches, outscoring opponents 11-8.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Krasnador (Dro)

Baltimore Orioles @ Boston Red Sox:
Boston are -130 favorites in this one, and are coming off a 13-0 romp of the Toronto Blue Jays and reigning NL Cy Young in RA Dickey. They should take this handily with their offense firing on all cylinders, and pitcher Clay Buchholtz on the hill who is 7-3 in 14 starts against Baltimore with an ERA of 3.64.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Red Sox (Dro)

Phillsz’s Pick:
What will be the Jersey Number of the First Goal Scorer of the 1st Half: 16 or Fewer / 17+ or No Goal
The top scorer for Man U is #20 Robin van Perise with 19 goals, with Wayne Rooney at 2 who wears #10 and has scored 12.
For ManCity, their top scorer is #10 Edin Dzeko with 12, and #32 Carlos Teves at 10.
If a goal is scored in the first half, I believe it will be from United, but either way this is a coin flip pick.
S2thuhB’s Pick: 17+ or No Goal(Reggie)

Phillsz’s Pick:
Who will Score the First Goal of the 2nd Half: Manchester City or No Goal / Manchester United
Pay attention to the first half and how each team is playing, then decide.

Phillsz’s Pick:
Minnesota Twins @ Kansas City Royals:
Kansas City come in at -133 favorites to win here, though the Twins are playing great ball to start the season, compared to what was expected.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Royals (Reggie)

Phillsz’s Pick:
New York Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies:
The Phillies come in as -131 favorites to win here, and have Roy Halladay on the mound, while the Mets will look to rookie Matt Harvey.
Roy Halladay has been absolutely brilliant in his career, though he struggled most of last season, and even his first start this year, allowing 5 runs in 3.1 innings against the Braves.
Matt Harvey on the other hand is an ace in the making, and threw a one hit 7 inning shutout against the Padres in his debut this year, fanning 10.
On the season, the Mets have been hitting better (.269 versus .234 for Philly), and scored 32 runs to the Phillies 17.
I predict that Halladay’s struggles will continue here and the Mets take the first game of this series.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Mets (Reggie)

Phillsz’s Pick:
Will a Homerun be Hit in the First 3 Innings:
Through the first 6 games of the season, the Mets have hit 8 HR’s, while the Phillies have hit 4. The Phillies have also given up 2 HR’s in 3 games at home this season, while the Mets have not played on the road yet this season.
Roy Halladay gave up 2 in his first start of the season in 3.1 innings, while Harvey only gave up one hit in his 7 inning debut. The Mets don’t have the best power lineup in the league, though Halladay isn’t the beast he used to be either so this could be a toss-up in a HR friendly park.
S2thuhB’s Pick: No (Reggie)

Phillsz’s Pick:
New York Rangers @ Toronto Maple Leafs:
The Leafs are 4-1 in their last 5 home games, losing the most recent to the Flyers 5-3. They are also 1-3-1 in their last 5 against the Rangers at home, being outscored 13-7. Even with such a staggering advantage over Toronto, the Rangers are only 2-2-1 in their last 5 road matches, though they were able to put up 9 in 2 games, but only managed 10 total in that span.
On the season, the Leafs are 10-7-2 at home with a +4 GD (59-55). The Rangers are 7-9-2 on the road with a -9 GD of (32-41).
S2thuhB’s Pick: Leafs (Reggie)

Louisville Cardinals vs Michigan Wolverines:
Louisville are 4 point favorites to win the title, and had a tough time beating Wichita State to make it, playing from behind most of the game, and only beating them by 4. Their largest lead of the night was 5 points when they led 67-62 with 1:17 left in the 2nd half, with their largest deficit, being down 12 (47-35) with 13:15 left in the second half.
The Wolverines on the other hand, had to go through Syracuse and were up 11 at half before letting the Orange come back, only beating them by 6. Louisville plays a much different kind of D than the Orange (who in my opinion had one of the best in the tourney), and rely heavily on turnovers, while Michigan is one of the best in the nation at controlling the ball on offense.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Michigan (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
PROP: Trey Burke / Russ Smith or Tie
In the tourney, Trey Burke is averaging 11 PPG, and has scored under 10 in 2 of the 5 games. Russ Smith on the other hand is averaging 25 PPG, and has scored 20+ in all 5.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Smith (Dro)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
How Many Points will be Scored in the 2nd Half: 69 or Fewer / 70+
Watch the first half to gauge how this will turn out. My thought is a defensive game keeping it under, though if it’s close, fouls could play a deciding role in how this turns out.
S2thuhB’s Pick: 70+ (Reggie) [Switched at halftime]
