What will be the Tournament Result: Tiger Woods by 2+ Strokes / AOR
Woods is playing great, take him and don’t question it.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Woods 2+ (Dro)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
How Many Games will Li Na Lose?: 6 or Fewer / 7+
Li Na is favored at -500 to win here, and holds the 1-0 record H2H against Garbine Muguruza, winning last year in Madrid 6-2, 6-4. If that’s any indication here take the lesser.
S2thuhB’s Pick: 6/Fewer (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Boston Red Sox or Tie vs Baltimore Orioles:
The Red Sox are 15-14 through Spring Training so far, while Baltimore are 17-7. Baltimore are -125 favorites to win here, and I expect them to take it.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Orioles (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
What will Woods Score be on the Par 4 18th: Par / AOR
Pay attention to how far up he is, and how he’s playing.
NOTE: Last week on this prop he shot a double bogey.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Par (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Brazil Win / Russia Win or Draw:
Brazil are heavy favorites to win in this one, and have won both matches played against Russia, 2-0 and 1-0. Russia is 4-1-0 in their last 5 scoring 10 goals, while allowing 2. Brazil is 2-2-1 in their last 5, scoring 10 and giving up 7. With 4 shutouts in their last 5 matches and a +8 GD I have to take Russia, though not confidently.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Russia (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Robert Morris WoSDL / Providence WbDD:
Providence are currently -9.5 favorites to win this one. Providence is the better team here and are playing at home. They would be in the Tourney if it weren’t for a 2-9 stretch mid-season, though they played some TOUGH competition during that stretch, including Louisville, Georgetown, Syracuse, Pitt, Marquette (all losses), and Villanova (1 of the 2 wins).
S2thuhB’s Pick: Providence WbDD (Kush)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Vanderbilt vs UConn: UConn by 25+ / AOR
The UConn women are favored by 27 here, and need I remind you of the 50+ prop they EASILY covered two days ago. Take them here and expect a 35+ point victory.
S2thuhB’s Pick: UConn 25+ (Kush)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Miami Heat @ Orlando Magic: Heat by 15+ / AOR
This is an awful Magic team going against the red hot Heat, who are favored in this one by 13. The Magic are also 2-8 in their last 10, and are probably playing the remainder looking for a lottery pick in next year’s draft. It’s worth noting that the Magic have won 7 of the last 10 at home against Miami, but most of those were before the Howard trade. Unless they don’t play the first half like they did in Cleveland, I expect the Heat to cover this easily.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Heat 15+ (Dro)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Memphis Grizzlies @ Washington Wizards
The Grizzlies are -3 favorites to win here, though the Wizards own the H2H in Washington, going 6-4 in the last 10. The Grizzlies are 19-14 on the road this season, while the Wizards are 18-17 at home. Memphis is 7-3 in their last 10, with Washington going 6-4 in that same span. This seems like a toss up to me, but I’d have to go with the team that can play much better defense.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Grizzlies (Reggie)

Phillsz’s Pick:
Heat Halftime Lead / Magic Players Who Score in the 1st Half
Flip a coin and go with it, otherwise stay away. The last game in Cleveland, the Heat were down 21 at half, but came back to win the game. They are also coming off a game yesterday at home against Charlotte, while Orlando haven't played since Friday at home agianst OKC. Be CAUTIOUS.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Magic Players Who Score (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
New Jersey Devils @ Ottawa Senators:
Ottawa are -135 favorites in this one, and have gone 11-2-3 at home with a GD at home of +17. The Devils on the other hand are 5-6-4 on the road with a -10 GD on the road. The Senators own a 4-1-0 record H2H in Ottawa against the Devils in their last 5 matchups, though they’re only 5-4-1 in the last 10.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Ottawa (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
LA Kings @ Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks are slight favorites to win here at -150 (+130 for the Kings), and are 11-1-1 at home this season with a GD of +12 (40-28), while the Kings are 5-8-1 on the road with a -7 GD (35-42). In their last 5 games, the Kings have gone 3-2, scoring 12 goals, conceding 7. Chicago is also 3-2 in their last 5, scoring 22 and giving up 14. The Blackhawks are 7-1-2 in their last 10 against LA at home and I fully expect that trend to continue.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Blackhawks (Dro)

Phillsz’s Pick:
How Many Points will the Heat Score in the 2nd Half: 52 or Fewer / 53+
Watch the first half and see how things are going, then decide.
S2thuhB’s Pick: 52+ (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Minnesota Wild @ Dallas Stars:
The line currently sits even in this one, and will be a close game. The Wild are 7-7-1 on the road this year with a -3 GD, while the Stars are7-6-1 at home with a GD of -7. This game is a toss-up, which is when I like to take the home team, though I wouldn’t put anything above a W1 on this.
NOTE: Dallas are 5-0 H2H in their last 5 at home against the Wild, with a GD of +11 (18-7).
S2thuhB’s Pick: Stars (Dro)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Mercer 3 Pointers Made or Tie / BYU Winning Margin:
BYU are currently -7 favorites, and have the advantage of playing at home. Mercer on the other hand average 7.3 3PM/G on 26.1% shooting, while the BYU D have allowed an average of 6.79 3PM/G this season on 33.1% shooting. In their last 5 at home BYU have covered this prop twice, while losing it three times, though one of those was a 5 point loss to Gonzaga. Expect a closer game than expected.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Mercer 3PMoT (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
South Florida WoSDL / California WbDD:
The Women from Cal are favored -7.5 to win this one. South Florida have lost 5 games by double digits this year, while Cal have won 19 games by double digits. I think this game will be close for a while, but Cal will pull away in the end.
S2thuhB’s Pick: California WbDD (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
San Jose Sharks @ Anaheim Ducks:
Anaheim are currently -140 favorites to win here. San Jose are 5-10-2 on the road this season with a -26 GD (29-55), while the Ducks are 13-3-0 at home with a GD of +15 (50-35). The Ducks absolutely own the Sharks at home, going 7-3 in the last 10 H2H in Anaheim, and 4-1 in the last 5. Ducks for the easy green, quack!
S2thuhB’s Pick: Ducks (Kush)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Louisiana Tech WoSDL / Southern Miss WbDD:
Southern Miss are -8 favorites to win, and have home court where their average winning margin is 21.57. LA Tech have an average winning margin of 1.25 on the road, where they went 11-5, though they played weaker competition compared to Southern Miss. Expect Miss to roll here.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Southern Miss WbDD (Dro)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Detroit Red Wings @ Phoenix Coyotes:
The Coyotes are favored to win here and sport a 10-6-1 record at home this season, while the Red Wings are 6-6-2 on the road. Phoenix has a +7 GD at home, while Detroit has a GD of -6 on the road. The Red Wings own the H2H in Phoenix, going 7-3 in the last 10, though they’re 3-1-1 in the last 5.
S2thuhB’s Pick: Red Wings (Reggie)
L's’s Pick:
Phillsz’s Pick:
Los Angeles Lakers @ Golden State Warriors:
The Warriors are 3-2 in their last 5, while the Lakers are 2-3. The Lakers are 13-22 on the road, while the Warriors are 23-10 at home. The Lakers own the H2H @ GS, going 9-1 in the last 10 however, these are two completely different teams than history shows. I expect the Warriors to roll at home here.
NOTE: Stephen Curry is a game time decision with an ankle injury. If he's out I don't know if the Warriors are still the pick, though it depends entirely on how the Lakers play D.
